AVYN
A V Y N is a collection of ageless garments founded on the use of sensuous materials, impeccable construction and beautiful hand finishings. Permeated with studied details and shapes, the collections are informed by broad research about the body vs it’s environment.
A V Y N was established in Canada in 2017, and has since formed a secondary base in Rome. All pieces are produced in limited editions in the Veneto region of Italy. Avyn is a Canadian American designer currently based in Rome. Her work is founded on her background in movement and dance, and driven by an innate respect for fine craftsmanship. Raised in rural Ontario, she has worked for conceptual womenswear and menswear designers in London, Berlin and Paris, including Hussein Chalayan, Deepti Barth and Rad Hourani.
